The flower business largely depends on understanding consumer habits. One of the key questions for florists and store owners is what the average customer bill is and how much they are willing to spend on a bouquet in 2025. The answer to this question helps to correctly build the assortment, form a pricing policy and offer relevant marketing promotions.
According to research by Yandex.Market and SberAnalytics, in 2024, the average bill for flowers in Russia was about 2,200–2,500 ₽. But the situation is gradually changing: demand is growing for both budget and premium bouquets, while the “middle” is gradually shrinking.
1. Economy segment (up to 1,000 ₽)
These are spontaneous purchases: one rose, tulips "on the way" or a small bouquet for no reason. Often these are gifts to colleagues or a gesture of attention "here and now".
For business: it is important to keep "quick" bouquets on display - simple, affordable, so that the client does not leave.
2. Basic segment (1,000–1,500 ₽)
Here, bouquets “for the family” or for small occasions are most often purchased: birthdays, visits to friends. The buyer is ready to overpay a little for beautiful packaging, but the price remains the deciding factor.
3. Middle segment (1,500–3,000 ₽)
The most popular category and the mainstay for most floristic studios. This includes bouquets for dates, gifts for loved ones, colleagues, teachers. Style, modern design, and aesthetics are important here.
It is this segment that most often forms the store's reputation: people remember that for "two or three thousand you can get something beautiful."
4. Premium (from 5,000 ₽ and up)
Author's works, exclusive compositions, wedding floristry. These clients do not count money, emotions and effect are important to them.
The premium segment is small, but very profitable: even a few orders a month can bring in serious revenue.
Our research shows that in 2025, shoppers will fall into a few distinct segments based on how much they are willing to spend:до 1 500 ₽ — быстрые и повседневные покупки, «букет по дороге домой» или небольшой знак внимания;
Thus, the flower market in 2025 is becoming increasingly multi-layered. For florists and shop owners, this is a signal: it is important to maintain a balance between affordable “everyday bouquets” and premium solutions. Only such a strategy allows you to simultaneously reach a wide audience and not lose customers focused on uniqueness and status.
