The research purpose: to identify the level of awareness of Russian importers in the field of quality control of imported products
The research involved 73 Russian wholesale buyers.
The survey was conducted using e-mail newsletters and telephone conversations.
The following results were obtained based on the survey results:
- 1. Does the Amsterdam handling warehouse meet sanitary standards according to the criteria below? - the ability to maintain optimal temperature - the room cleanliness - proper storage of goods
54% of respondents were not able to accurately answer this question.
28% replied that it was fully consistent
18% are not satisfied with the conditions of the warehouse in Amsterdam

Does the vehicle meet the following requirements when transporting goods from Amsterdam to the Russian Federation? - the ability to maintain optimal temperature - presence of a temperature sensor (Data Logger) in the trailer - readiness of the refrigerator for loading (cleanliness, absence of debris and foreign objects, etc.)
45% of respondents said that the vehicle always fully meets the specified parameters
55% said they were unable to verify compliance, relying on the competence of the carrier company

Output: The results of the survey showed that the issue of quality control of flower products is very acute for wholesale importers. Most of them are not able to carefully monitor the conditions in which the products are located until they are delivered to the warehouse. Wholesalers mainly rely on the professionalism of transport companies and do not carry out additional control. Few respondents were able to name organizations professionally engaged in independent quality control of a flower.
