This study was commissioned by a Kenyan grower in order to analyze the demand for particular varieties of roses among flower shops in Russia.
Research method: focus group.
Geotargeting: Russian cities with population above 1 million.
Target group: Russian flower shops.
Observation period: 3 months.
Summary of the research:
In each region of Russia, we selected the largest cities with a developed network of flower shops.
Requested varieties were tested for vase life both in special temperature conditions of the flower shops and under standard room conditions. Also we identified what variety was mostly preferred by final customers.
As a result of the research, it was concluded that only one variety was the most demanded among buyers at a price not higher than the average market price for varieties with similar parameters.
