FLORAL "OZON": how profitable is cooperation?

Purpose of the research: Over the past few years, a lot of online services have appeared for the sale of various categories of goods to the end consumer. The flower business did not stand aside. To help flower shops, there are several online sites for selling bouquets. However, before starting to work with these services, the Fresh Insider Agency received a request to conduct a study in order to determine the effectiveness of cooperation with these platforms.

The study involved 236 flower shops in Moscow and the Moscow region. The survey was conducted using e-mail and telephone conversations.

Output: Working through flower aggregators has a positive impact on flower shop sales.
Most of the customers who make purchases through the aggregator are young people under 30. However, the middle-aged generation also use similar services. More profit comes to stores from cooperation with Flowwow.com. The main sales are on Monday, Friday and Saturday. The most popular flower variety is the single-headed rose. 75% of respondents noted a significant increase in sales, and therefore, many stores had to hire additional staff for delivery and flower arranging.
